We are in a vital time in our evolutionary process.
Corruption and greed has come so far, and we are now in the great age of awakening.
There has been much grief recently and humans have a strong temptation to blame and project anger and judgment on those that seem to be in power; or to withdraw into depression, anxiety or fantasy.
But the truth is our enemies are not outside of us―they live within us. They are in the shadows of our own mind.
The ego projects these internal enemies onto other people and situations externally instead of working inward.
But when we ignore our own shadow and keep projecting and reacting we block ourselves from experiencing our truth.
WHAT IS SHADOW WORK?
Shadow work is looking at parts of us that we mask or hide away in order to remove limitations and projections that hold us back from inner peace.
By understanding our triggers or our deepest fears and reactions we can unveil our light.
The foundation of all our human experiences on this earth planet is love.
Love is truth and everything else is not reality.
Your judgments are false. Your anger and fear is false. They may feel very real. Sure! But they are simply an illusion.
The material world is dissolving to reveal only what is true.
This means that the unconscious is coming to the surface. Collective shadow work. Where all our deepest fears are rising to the surface so that we can release them into light.
Your strength is not found in your anger, judgments, frustrations or how loudly you scream, “Injustice!” Your strength lies in your calmness,
your clarity, your intuition, your serenity.
And if you feel at times overcome by your anger and you want to destroy something, destroy your inner enemies with love so that they need not be projected as shadows onto the world.
Your spiritual super power is your calmness, so be that calm mountain for others to turn to in times of great fear and insecurity.
Here are some vital WONDERFUL questions that you can ask yourself (answering truthfully) to embrace your shadow and connect to your truth, your light. ✨
What am I addicted to?
How have I been ignorant?
What are my deepest fears?
Am I working with healthful habits?
How have I been distracting myself?
What are my delusions?
Am I suppressing my trauma?
Am I doing enough to heal that trauma?
Do I respect myself and others?
What lessons still need to be learnt?
You could write these down, you could contemplate them in meditation taking 10 minutes of stillness focusing on the breath.
These questions are best answered once you’ve connected to the present moment and given yourself some space away from the worlds numerous distractions.
